Call for Papers
LS 2026 invites original contributions in the fields of lighting and photometry, i.e. science, smart systems, sustainability, design, education, policy, and professional practice.
Submission Guidelines
- Abstracts AND short description must be a maximum of two pages, formatted for standard A4 single-column paper.
- Full paper must be four pages in standard IEEE paper format.
- All submissions must be written in English and describe original work.
- Accepted formats are DOC, DOCX, and PDF.
- Submissions must not exceed 20 MB.

Presentation and Publication Process
Selected papers will be scheduled for 10-minute oral presentations: 7 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for questions and answers.
All remaining accepted papers will be presented as standard A0 posters.
Authors of accepted submissions are required to complete the IEEE copyright transfer agreement.
Outstanding presented papers may be invited for extended publication in peer-reviewed journals.
The submission process begins with an abstract review. Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified and invited to submit a full paper.
All accepted and presented contributions will be considered for the official conference proceedings, while a selection of outstanding papers will be invited for extended publication in peer-reviewed journals.
