Call for Papers

LS 2026 invites original contributions in the fields of lighting and photometry, i.e. science, smart systems, sustainability, design, education, policy, and professional practice.

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstracts must be a maximum of two pages, formatted for standard A4 single-column paper.
  • All submissions must be written in English and describe original work.
  • Accepted formats are DOC, DOCX, and PDF.
  • Submissions must not exceed 20 MB.

Presentation and Publication Process

All accepted abstracts will be presented as posters.

Selected landmark papers will be scheduled for 15-minute oral presentations.

Authors of accepted submissions are required to complete the IEEE copyright transfer agreement.

Outstanding presented papers may be invited for extended publication in peer-reviewed journals.

The submission process begins with an abstract review. Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified and invited to submit a full paper.

All accepted and presented contributions will be considered for the official conference proceedings, while a selection of outstanding papers will be invited for extended publication in peer-reviewed journals.
