Delphi and Kalampaka

Drive through Levadia and Arachova before arriving in Delphi, the Pan-Hellenic sanctuary at the foot of Mount Parnassos and home to the most famous oracle of ancient Greece.

Visit the archaeological site; museum admission is not included. Continue across the Thessalian Plain to Kalampaka for a short village visit, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Meteora and Thermopylae

Visit Meteora, whose name means 'suspended in air'. Its historic rock monasteries form one of Greece's most important monastic communities and have been recognized by UNESCO as a unique cultural heritage phenomenon.
