1st Day

Delphi and Kalampaka

Drive through Levadia and Arachova, famous for its bright multicolored carpets, and arrive in Delphi.

At the foot of Mount Parnassos, within the twin rocks of the Phaedriades, lies the Pan-Hellenic sanctuary of Delphi, home to the most famous oracle of ancient Greece. Delphi was regarded as the centre of the world and was a cultural, religious, and athletic landmark for the Hellenic world.

Visit the archaeological site. Museum entrance is not included. After the visit, depart for Kalampaka across the Thessalian Plain, with dinner and overnight stay in Kalampaka.

2nd Day

Meteora and Thermopylae

Visit Meteora, one of the most remarkable places in Greece. The name means "suspended in air" and refers to the rock community of monasteries that became one of Greece's most important monastic groups after Mount Athos.

The rock monasteries have been characterized by UNESCO as a unique phenomenon of cultural heritage.

After the visits, return to Athens via Thermopylae for a photo stop. This visit may sometimes take place on the first day.
